How do we MOB?
MOB is an acronym from John 15 we use to help us remember the constant cycle we are in while we abide and grow with Jesus. We will always be in a state of at least one, if not usually all, of these parts. This is what sanctification looks like!
M = Meditate
John 15:7-8
We dwell on Jesus’ words so that they become ours
O = Obey
John 15:9-15
We make Jesus’ ways our ways in obedience
B = Bear
John 15:16-17
We engage in Jesus’ works and he bears fruit
How do we PLAN?
PLAN is an acronym to help us remember why we are doing events, planning activities, and giving of our time and energy to serve our Lord and our peers.
P = Purpose - Define the reason for what we are doing.
L = Location - Decide the best place to achieve the purpose.
A = Audience - Determine who we hope walks away with what from the purpose.
N = Next Steps - Provide action steps items for the audience fulfilling the purpose.
