FBC Wellston believes any volunteer in a perceived position of trust should meet a standard of qualification that promotes accountability and confidence in all areas of ministry. Below are some of the steps involved in the qualification process. Thank you for being a volunteer at FBC Wellston! 1. You will be asked to submit to a standard criminal background check as a volunteer. 2. As a volunteer, you will be asked to participate in an interview with a member of the Pastor/Elder Team. He will ask you about your salvation testimony, spiritual health, family life, social life, and anything relevant to your volunteer role. 3. As a volunteer you will be asked to complete a series of internet-based training videos that cover sexual abuse awareness, volunteer training, etc. 4. As a volunteer, you will be asked to participate in periodic in-person training facilitated by the Church on various topics ranging from emergency procedures, CPR/First Aid, evangelism, decision counseling, etc. Your signature below affirms your desire to be a volunteer at FBC Wellston.
