We believe that Jesus Christ is the true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy
Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross, a sacrifice for our sins, according to the
scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into Heaven, where, at the right hand of
the Majesty on High, He now is our High Priest and Advocate. (
Matthew 20:28; Romans 3:25,26; II
Corinthians 5:14; Hebrews 10:5-14; Hebrews 7:25; I Corinthians 15:20)
We believe that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, and during
this age to convict sinners, regenerate the believer at salvation, and to indwell, guide, instruct, and
empower the believer for godly living and service. (

Declaration of Faith
We believe that man was created in the image of God but fell into sin and is therefore lost and,
only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit, can salvation and spiritual life be obtained. (

We believe that, in order to effect justification and salvation, Jesus Christ lived a sinless life,
fulfilling the demands of the Law, as the federal representative of sinful men, and that the shed blood
of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provide the only ground for justification and salvation. Only
those who receive Jesus Christ are born of the Holy Spirit, and thus become children of God.

We believe that water baptism and the Lord’s Supper are ordinances to be observed by the
church during the present age. They are, however, not to be regarded as means of salvation.

We believe that the true Church is composed of all such persons who, through saving faith in
Jesus Christ, have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are unified together in the Body of Christ
of which He is the Head. (

We believe that only those who are thus members of the true church shall be eligible for
membership in the local church. (
Acts 2:41-42, 47)
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Lord and Head of the Church, and that every local church
has the right under Christ to decide and govern its own affairs. (
Matthew 16:16-18; I Corinthians
11:3)
We believe in the personal and premillennial and imminent coming of our Lord Jesus Christ
and this “Blessed Hope” has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer. (
John 14:1-
3; I Corinthians 15:51-52; Philippians 3:20; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Titus 2:11-14)
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead; of the believer to everlasting blessedness and
joy with the Lord, of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment. (
Luke
16:19-26, 23:42-43; II Corinthians 5:8; Philippians 1:23; II Thessalonians 1:7-9; Revelation 20:11-15)
We believe that we and all true believers everywhere, once saved shall be kept saved forever.
We also believe, however, that God is a holy and righteous Father and that, since He cannot overlook
the sin of His children, He will when they persistently sin chasten them and correct them in infinite
love. Having undertaken to save them and keep them forever, apart from all human merit, the Father
will in the end present every one of them faultless before the presence of His glory and conformed to
the image of His Son. (
John 10:28).
